Hi Shenanigan Enthusiasts!
We hope your week has been full of love and shenanigans. We have some exciting shenanigans happening here at the funny farm this weekend, so we are all getting ready today! Our friend Oakley Dimond asked if she could host a western themed photo shoot here. So fun! I love that she has a vision, and she is bringing that vision to life. Rowdy will be modeling. Hopefully he is not too, ROWDY! The rest of the gang will have cameos too. Our neighbors are bringing horses and it sounds like some cool old cars will be brought in for the festivities too. Fingers crossed no goats jump on the hoods! Kolton and Allie will be modeling along with some of their pals. I am grateful to be able to share the magic of the funny farm with Oakley so she can turn this dream into a reality! Stay tuned for photos in the coming weeks.
Life has been busy, so we are scrambling to get the slightly neglected yard work caught up for the festivities tomorrow! Thank goodness for teenage boys and a handsome hubby to make it all come together! I take for granted all they do sometimes. All good though, because as they joke there is a magic fairy that cleans up after them in the house. ME. Teamwork makes the dream work! Good thing too, because the weed eater makes me cuss a little! Despite the busyness of recent weeks, I cherish my mornings shoveling sh*t, talking to God, listening to my favorite tunes, while feeding and loving on the whole funny farm gang.
Now
There is no time like NOW to do the things! The things that we are called to do, to live our purpose. Mine is to help ignite that spark in myself and those I touch to truly live and love to the fullest! We often have good intentions with millions of reasons aka excuses why we can’t do the thing now but NOW is all we have. Jeff reminded me this week that I have a gift to share and now is the time to share it. I am piecing that vision together and excited for all that is to come. I know my journey, our journey, all the lessons and the blessings along the way can help others navigate their journey too. Sharing about the love, shenanigans and what’s on my heart each week is a small step forward towards where I am headed. I hope you will come along with me as we grow together through this crazy, tragic, sometimes almost magic, awful, beautiful life. Yep, I know I have shared this song before, but these words so perfectly sum up it all up! (Click to listen)
CELEBRATE
Speaking of NOW. Now is the time to celebrate. There are miracles happening all the time, but we are often too busy going through the motions of life to notice. In the craziness of our world our hearts can get heavy. I promise if you look for the magic, the miracles, you will find them. Some are big, others are small, but they are all something to CELEBRATE. The more we celebrate, the more there is to celebrate, MAGIC.

MIRACLES
What miracles are you celebrating this week? I would love to know in the comments! Around here there has been much to celebrate. Betty and June are celebrating their lovely mud puddle. Oh, how they love to wallow in it. As for me, I celebrate the quiet of the morning, the hills slowly turning brown reminding me fall is in the air. Football season is officially here, and Jeff and Kyler are doing what they love. Kolton is dreaming big about what is possible for his future and working hard to turn those dreams into reality. I get to snuggle up next to my forever love and fall asleep at night. We get to sip good sips, eat good eats and dance in the kitchen while making dinner. So many lessons and blessing to celebrate but the most exiting miracle of all to celebrate this week is our new niece Emma Grace was born. Congratulations to my little brother and sweet-sis’n’law! She is precious. Join us in a celebration sip with one of our favorite pink drinks! See recipe above. CHEERS!

Our miracle this last few days ….we had Dozer, Laydee, Nala, Sammy, (dogs)Luna and Amore’ (cats) hanging together in our small, but cute yard and they all have had a good time together….well except for Luna (the Cat) has been happy in the separate yard in her own tent feeling safe and loved.
❤️♥️💗💚💙
Molly,
I love this so much! ♥️
Molly,

My small miracle – talking to my mom and noticing her inflection has pivoted. It is no longer riddled with only sadness and grief. She speaks of her new friendships she’s made since moving and memories of my Dad in the same breath with ease. Moving her out of my parents home was one of her hardest things – she did it with grace but sorrow and now she has her spark once again. She is good Dad . We did good Dad- this is my miracle this week .
