Hi Shenanigan Enthusiasts!

It’s all shenanigans around here as usual! If cow-pies were worth their weight in gold, we would be rich. I love my mornings shoveling sh*t, talking to God, and listening to my favorite tunes. Even on the mornings I am not feeling so enthusiastic to get moving, once I am out there, I feel alive, GRATEFUL for the magic of the morning and the sweet love and shenanigans of the funny farm.

Funny Farm Shenanigans!

 

I have been asked if I did a lot of research before combining the likes of kune kune pigs (Betty & June), goats (Huckleberry, Bonnie, Clyde, Ricky, Jerry and Moo), alpacas (Rasta, Buddy, Merle) and mini highland bull (Rowdy) and coming soon.... micro mini highland heifer (Piper) and the answer is NOPE! I just went with my heart and here we are with a funny farm full of daily shenanigans! I watch as they all tootle around in random pairs living their best life. Once in a while one or another gets a little feisty, Rowdy will give Betty or June a nudge with his ever-growing horns when he decides it’s his turn for the pool, but he doesn’t hurt them. Huckleberry will go head-to-head with Rowdy and Rowdy will back down most the time. The ‘pacas mostly wrestle with each other but Merle loves to love on everyone! Of course, if you follow our shenanigans you know Moo had to find his way but that was only among the other goats. Every night they all head into the same barn together for a good night’s rest, safe from predators who may lurk about. I guess ignorance was bliss and it all works! More life lessons from the funny farm - we can all be different but happily coexist and sometimes you just have to follow your heart and go for it!

 

I never predicted that part of me living my BEST LIFE, would include a funny farm but here I am, shoveling sh*t every day and loving it! I had a silly little dream of mine come true this week. I walked down to the barnyard late one afternoon, the sun was shining, the air was cool enough that it was the perfect combination, the whole gang was soaking it up. June came over and flopped right over for her favorite belly rubs. Rowdy was lying nearby so I was petting in him too. Slowly I scooted closer and eventually snuggle my back up against his belly and just sat there soaking up the sunshine and laying on Rowdy like he was big ol’ love sac. Definitely a magic moment to CELEBRATE! When Jeff came out of the shop he laughed when he saw my little head popped up on the other of Rowdy. Those snuggly moments were a dream come true and truly made my heart smile. Yet, more life lessons from the funny farm - with patience and commitment, trust and love can grow. I ♥️ Rowdy and the whole gang!

ALWAYS LEAVE A LITTLE SPARKLE EVERYWHERE WHERE YOU GO!

Do you ever meet someone, and they just make the world a little brighter?  They have that special spark or in this case sparkle, that touches everyone they meet. Linda Jackson or as everyone who loves her, calls her Tee Tee (and everyone who knows her loves her!) always left a little sparkle everywhere she went. She always came with a smile, she loved to laugh, sing, dance, sip good sips, and love with all her heart. I like to say I want to be like Tee Tee when I grow up! So much spunk and always up for shenanigans!!! Tee Tee danced her last dance this week, her tribe by her side singing her favorite tunes. I know she danced her way to heaven.

 

Tonight, we will have a glass of wine or two (one for her too, she loved a good sip!) and celebrate Tee Tee.  She truly LIVED life to the fullest, one of the badassiest ladies I have had the honor of calling a friend. I hope when I am 77 years old am still living life like she did, and I hope when I fly away people think of me the way I think of her.

When we last visited with Tee Tee she was so excited to celebrate her great nephew, Tommy’s wedding. She had requested the song Runaround Sue to boogie to at the wedding. And boy did she boogie! She used to sing and dance to this oldie but goodie with Tommy while he was growing up. She loved her 50’s tunes! In case you needed a reason to get your boogie on, crank it up and let’s all be reminded to dance 'til we can’t dance anymore. Live like TeeTee!

Cheers to Living Like Tee Tee! One of the BEST!

 I always loved getting to sit and sip a good sip with Tee Tee , her niece Lisa, one of my fellow badassie, ride or dies.  It’s possible there were occasions there was a hole in the bottle. Hmmm, weird! This tune made me smile when it came on while thinking of her! Here’s to Tee Tee, living life, sippin’ good sips, and dancing in the kitchen. Cheers to all of the above, may we all live like her......always leaving a little sparkle everywhere we go.
